Vault Character

I have NO idea who this is, but my, He is OBSCENELY well dressed. Good work, young sir. Bit like a more interesting hybrid Jack Wills/Longchamp model? Good work indeed.

Oh, and if this is you and you'd rather not be featured then please let me know and I shall remove you at once :) With great regret however, you do dress wonderfully!

Slowmotion Apocalypse

I haven't read anything decent recently cuz I've had so much work from school, coursework etc, and before I start reading around my A Level texts in the summer I've decided to finish a couple of other novels.
One being The Reader, which I am starting today. Never got round to seeing the film but it sounded amazing, my sister told me it was good, decided I'd give the book a go. Anyone read it, any comments?

I'm so glad Winslet got her Oscar for this though, she's deserved one every since Titanic! I love her :D

City Bound, in my dreams

I'm applying for a job soon, and I will hopefully save up enough in the summer to buy a new coat. I'm thinking of a trench, and I saw an amazing suede one in some magazine the other day - I intend to track it down. I don't think I'll ever save up enough for the beloved Burberry Prorsum one, but oh, I live in hope. I have an emotional attachment to that coat now, I'm going to have to get hold of one somehow.

My budget is gunna be about £150 I'm thinking, but if Im really desperate I'll probably end up ebaying it :')

In the mean time in thinking of one of these?

And when I am a carefree millionaire, I shall buy a hundred of these and wear one all day, every day, for the rest of my life. Oh, Burberry Trench Coat..*sigh..*

You're the nearest to my heart

RIP Lee (Alexander) Mcqueen, you were an inspiration to the fullest extent.
There are not really any words that could really do justice, so I'm not going to say any more.

Criminal In Uniform

THAT McQueen dress is now on net-a-porter for the substantial sum of £2,845, but hey, I'm still willing to save up for it.

Although having said this, this dress is barely worthy of mere mortals. uhhhh <3

Generation Vegetarian

Something a little different today, as you have probably gathered I do have a thing for art. Quite a big thing. Although traditional art is my biggest love, I do love body art, and I know a million people with Tattoos. Some of my favourites I have found over time, I do not take credit for any of these pictures, or anything of the Tattoos displayed, but I greatly appreciate them.

And for the record, no, my titles never have anything to do with my posts :')

Magnets and Anything New

Reading the March issue of Vogue I was reminded by Emma Watson and her fellow beautiful models of how much I love the Burberry Prorsum 2010 on the trech coat, the two on the extreme of this picture in particular;

You Are The Moon,

Feel like doing a couture post today, so here goesss! Picks from S/S 2010 Couture, courtesy of Style.com

I absolutely LOVE Armani Prive S/S collection, a very fantastical affair indeed - based on the moon which I myself find utterly obsurd and romantic and amazing. Note to self, must find some of those ridiculous cresent moon brooches/buttons, they are just amazing.

It's my new favourite runway model - Skye Stracke - I don't know why but I just LOVE her face,

The epitome of elegance, this is so simple yet SUMBLIME. Vocab is getting very flowery here, but this dress is utterly lovely. Very much liking the big shoulders and half sleeves combo.

This, I imagine, would have looked good on the Matrix costume rail. I don't know what the fabric is but I want me some to make a cyberpunk businesswoman suit a la THIS ONE!

Oh, the cresent moons. The best shape ever, I love the colour used here as well. What is it about these trouser suits that is working so well? I just don't know.

Love the structure of this one too, and nice to see a simple black thrown in there, even if a little bit safe.

The whole thing seems like a mural of something between Lord of the Rings, The Matrix, with The Hush Sound playing in the background - I do like the sound of that, must say.

Oh and for the record, for anyone who has seen the whole Jean Paul Gautier S/S 10 couture collection, doesn't it just spring Couture Pirates of the Caribbean?! Seriously, that's exactly what I thought when I saw it. Even down to these couture pirate hats:

And yet somehow it works! The collections is faaabulous, very avant garde, mmm.

And that's all there is really, if anything interesting happens to me this week I'll try and get round to posting something :) Ooh and I won some military boots on ebay for £20 last night! I'll take some pictures when they arrive

Electric Feel

Hey Babies, I'm finally posting pictures! yay :D
Dress - Topshop
Shoes - Missguided

Being a skanky little 15 year old I don't exactly have £100 to be using to bid on Topshop Aggie boots on ebay, so I opted for £30 knock-offs because they're identical, and no ones gunna notice ;)
GAH I LOVE THEM

They're quite hard to walk in, and I do look like a bit of a wanker trying but fuck, they're so beautiful that it doesn't even matter :D And sorry for the photos being the wrong way round n ting, my computer isn't behaving itself :(

IN other news I'm entering the Vogue Talent Contest 2010 - Basically a writing competition with £1000 and a writing apprenticeship at Vogue UK for a year attached to it, I WANT TO WIN SO BAD <3
