A general update, as I've realised I've been silent for a while now. I'm currently doing prep. for my GCSE art exam so I literally won't have a social life for 6 weeks, however I will trymy very best to keep stuff coming (:
Im other news I decided to join Tumblr because there are some great people on there and I really wanted to follow them, I also thought it would be a nice contrast as it's literally a microblog, and it's really quick to do rather than long written pieces like this. I will be keeping my blogger account too though so don't worry :D
Here my Tumblr if you wana check it out, this account also serves the onther side of me, the darker, deeper side. Less fashion, more art/literature/heartache

Dear Time Traveler,
I was in Bristol over the past couple of days visiting my sister at university. It's by far my favourite place at the moment, everything about it is fabulous. You should go visit. Not really much to say 'cuz the weather was so rubbish, and I hardly got the chance to take ANY pictures. Here's a few of what I wore the other day though, as I feel I have rather neglected the fashion aspect of things lately! How dare I, I know.

Zara Shorts, New top from H&M with big shoulders - Quite a funny story involving me and the sales lady when I got this, although it's being saved for a rainy day :') Vintage belt

Maybe Tomorrow,
I'd much rather be asleep right now, in conciousness at the moment I'm feeling incredibly lost.
This is my new favourite blog, I can relate to it so well it's almost a little bit scary. The author, Cory, describes himself as '..a geek, an artist, and a procrastinator'. Oh my God, he's literally (well obviously not quite) me. If you think you're in any way a little bit like me, then go have a look
http://corynathan.tumblr.com/
I really need to show this to someone, and tell them to reverse this theory - He needs to get out of my head, and it still amazes me how he managed to get there, and stay there.

On a lighter note, I'm off the Bristol tomorrow with some friends - I will take pictures,

20 Dollar Nose Bleed
Vault Character
I have NO idea who this is, but my, He is OBSCENELY well dressed. Good work, young sir. Bit like a more interesting hybrid Jack Wills/Longchamp model? Good work indeed.

Oh, and if this is you and you'd rather not be featured then please let me know and I shall remove you at once :) With great regret however, you do dress wonderfully!

Slowmotion Apocalypse
I haven't read anything decent recently cuz I've had so much work from school, coursework etc, and before I start reading around my A Level texts in the summer I've decided to finish a couple of other novels.
One being The Reader, which I am starting today. Never got round to seeing the film but it sounded amazing, my sister told me it was good, decided I'd give the book a go. Anyone read it, any comments?

I'm so glad Winslet got her Oscar for this though, she's deserved one every since Titanic! I love her :D

City Bound, in my dreams
I'm applying for a job soon, and I will hopefully save up enough in the summer to buy a new coat. I'm thinking of a trench, and I saw an amazing suede one in some magazine the other day - I intend to track it down. I don't think I'll ever save up enough for the beloved Burberry Prorsum one, but oh, I live in hope. I have an emotional attachment to that coat now, I'm going to have to get hold of one somehow.
My budget is gunna be about £150 I'm thinking, but if Im really desperate I'll probably end up ebaying it :')
In the mean time in thinking of one of these?

And when I am a carefree millionaire, I shall buy a hundred of these and wear one all day, every day, for the rest of my life. Oh, Burberry Trench Coat..*sigh..*

Something a little different today, as you have probably gathered I do have a thing for art. Quite a big thing. Although traditional art is my biggest love, I do love body art, and I know a million people with Tattoos. Some of my favourites I have found over time, I do not take credit for any of these pictures, or anything of the Tattoos displayed, but I greatly appreciate them.

And for the record, no, my titles never have anything to do with my posts :')

You Are The Moon,
Feel like doing a couture post today, so here goesss! Picks from S/S 2010 Couture, courtesy of Style.com
I absolutely LOVE Armani Prive S/S collection, a very fantastical affair indeed - based on the moon which I myself find utterly obsurd and romantic and amazing. Note to self, must find some of those ridiculous cresent moon brooches/buttons, they are just amazing.
It's my new favourite runway model - Skye Stracke - I don't know why but I just LOVE her face,

The epitome of elegance, this is so simple yet SUMBLIME. Vocab is getting very flowery here, but this dress is utterly lovely. Very much liking the big shoulders and half sleeves combo.

This, I imagine, would have looked good on the Matrix costume rail. I don't know what the fabric is but I want me some to make a cyberpunk businesswoman suit a la THIS ONE!

Oh, the cresent moons. The best shape ever, I love the colour used here as well. What is it about these trouser suits that is working so well? I just don't know.

Love the structure of this one too, and nice to see a simple black thrown in there, even if a little bit safe.

The whole thing seems like a mural of something between Lord of the Rings, The Matrix, with The Hush Sound playing in the background - I do like the sound of that, must say.
Oh and for the record, for anyone who has seen the whole Jean Paul Gautier S/S 10 couture collection, doesn't it just spring Couture Pirates of the Caribbean?! Seriously, that's exactly what I thought when I saw it. Even down to these couture pirate hats:

And yet somehow it works! The collections is faaabulous, very avant garde, mmm.
And that's all there is really, if anything interesting happens to me this week I'll try and get round to posting something :) Ooh and I won some military boots on ebay for £20 last night! I'll take some pictures when they arrive

Electric Feel
Hey Babies, I'm finally posting pictures! yay :D
Dress - Topshop
Shoes - Missguided
Being a skanky little 15 year old I don't exactly have £100 to be using to bid on Topshop Aggie boots on ebay, so I opted for £30 knock-offs because they're identical, and no ones gunna notice ;)
GAH I LOVE THEM

They're quite hard to walk in, and I do look like a bit of a wanker trying but fuck, they're so beautiful that it doesn't even matter :D And sorry for the photos being the wrong way round n ting, my computer isn't behaving itself :(
IN other news I'm entering the Vogue Talent Contest 2010 - Basically a writing competition with £1000 and a writing apprenticeship at Vogue UK for a year attached to it, I WANT TO WIN SO BAD <3

Ask me to stay
This week has gone super slow. Feeling that I should post today, I haven't done in a while and blog feels a little neglected and empty. I've had a busy week, haven't had a lunch break at all this week - pretty killer. Probably failed my chemsitry exam, and I have physics on monday that I really need to start revising for my before that commences, I MUST RELAX.
Went out last night, well over to a friends house with a whole lot of us for Poker, Pizza, and Texas Chainsaw Massacre which I've seen too many times. I decided to do a bit mroe background reading on the classic horror this morning, and read about the story behind Texas Chainsaw Massacre (2003 Michael Bay remake anyway, shamfully never seen the original) and the serial killer who inspired Leatherface was fucked up, go read about him yourself if you have the guts - it's seriously horrible.
Anyway enough of that :D I'm just working today so will probably not come across anything of note, babysitting tonight because I need some money. A quick fashion note, because I found these on one of my favourite blogs, the famous Tavi Gevinson (http://tavi-thenewgirlintown.blogspot.com), and I LOVE THIS LOOK

From Chanel at some point, I haven't been able to find out when, but uh, so Marie Antoinette, speaking of which I just have to post this, reblogged from another of my favourite blogs: http://j-ad0re.tumblr.com/

Go check ou both blogs, read about Serial Killers, and have a nice weekend!

Bittersweet
I just woke up, and realised I've been pretty silent since saturday, my bad! Doing tons of revision atm and probably won't get round to something really decent by next week when exams are over, will try and take some pics when my new topshop stuff arrives though, in the mean time; this.

It's valentines day soon and I've had someone on my mind for ever now.

Practising a magic trick
Haven't posted in quite a while, sorry sorry sorry! I haven't really god much to say, but I'll try and write something worth reading.
I've had quite a busy week, I've got science exams all week so I've been revising quite a bit, and have alot of art coursework to do as it's all due to be sent off in early febuary (eeek!) Sooooo... Haven't got round to doing much but work, went to a printing studio yesterday for the day, got some amazing work done but now I'm covering in oil based ink which artists will know, doesn't come off. I was using blues and greens and yellows and I now just look bruised and abused.
I other news, I've ordered a couple of things because I discovered I have money! :D I don't really have any money after all this lot but still, I can't wait til it arrives in the post :D
Aggie from Topshop, they're disappearing fast and I had to stay up for about 3 days to get a new pair on ebay, I just couldn't resist. I feel like the worst of sinners.

Lace skater dress from Topshop, sold out about 3 minutes after I ordered it - I swear they only make about half the number of size 6's than 8's, 10's, and 12's! Damn being so skinny.

Oh and I won these little patent brogues on ebay for £2.50 the other day! They came in the post and are faaaaaaaaaab, I look hilarious in them, and I am most defnately going to do the charleston in them.

When my topshop purchases arrive, expect a huge rant about how amazing they are - I'm never gunna take that dress off. P.S MORE ART SOON!
